UNDERSTANDING PBR HOME

The aim of this project is to provide a user-friendly tool that can be used alone or as part of a PBR toolkit to explain the Act to a range of different stakeholders at different levels of detail.

It will contribute to better understanding by growers, researchers and their legal advisors of the principles and legal issues associated with PBR.

This will assist to promote improved commercial arrangements for breeders, growers and the community, and the more effective use of PBR to stimulate plant breeding and innovation FOR THE BENEFIT OF Australian producers.

This tool is designed for key user groups including:

Breeders and Researchers
Licensees
Commercial entities
Investment managers
